Your privacy matters to us, and TranslateThis is built to collect as little personal data as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information we do and do not collect when you use https://translateth.is, and how we handle it.
The short version
We do not require you to create an account, we do not ask for personal information, and the interactive tools on this site run entirely in your browser. We use one privacy-friendly analytics service to understand general traffic. That is essentially all.
Information we do not collect
- No accounts or sign-ups. There is no registration, login, or user account on this site, so we do not collect names, passwords, or profile information.
- No forms or personal submissions. We do not operate contact forms, newsletters, or comment sections that gather your personal details.
- No tool data. Our tools — such as the character counter, word counter, language detector, and SRT subtitle tools — run locally in your browser. Any text you paste or files you open are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
- No selling of data. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, because we do not collect it in the first place.
Analytics
To understand how many people visit the site and which pages are popular, we use Ahrefs Web Analytics. It is a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service that reports aggregate, anonymized traffic statistics — such as page views, referring sites, and general country or device categories. It does not use tracking cookies and is not designed to identify you personally.
Because Ahrefs Web Analytics is a third-party service, its own data practices are governed by Ahrefs' privacy policy. We use it only to see anonymized, site-wide trends.
Cookies
TranslateThis does not set its own tracking cookies, and our analytics is cookieless. Your browser may store standard technical data (such as cached files) as it does for any website, but we do not use cookies to profile or track you across sites.

This site links to third-party websites — for example, the resources in our directory and reference links in our articles and guides. Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted on a third-party platform that, like virtually all web hosts, may automatically process standard technical information (such as IP addresses and request details) as part of delivering pages and protecting against abuse. This is ordinary infrastructure logging, not something we use to build profiles of visitors.
