Your privacy matters to us, and TranslateThis is built to collect as little personal data as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information we do and do not collect when you use https://translateth.is, and how we handle it.

The short version

We do not require you to create an account, we do not ask for personal information, and the interactive tools on this site run entirely in your browser. We do not run any analytics or tracking scripts. That is essentially all.

Information we do not collect

• No accounts or sign-ups. There is no registration, login, or user account on this site, so we do not collect names, passwords, or profile information.
• No forms or personal submissions. We do not operate contact forms, newsletters, or comment sections that gather your personal details.
• No tool data. Our tools — such as the character counter, word counter, language detector, and SRT subtitle tools — run locally in your browser. Any text you paste or files you open are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
• No selling of data. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, because we do not collect it in the first place.

Analytics

TranslateThis does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising scripts. We do not measure individual visits or build profiles of visitors. Apart from standard hosting logs (described below), the only aggregate information we see is the search performance reporting that search engines such as Google provide to site owners, which describes how the site appears in search results — not who you are.

Cookies

TranslateThis does not set tracking cookies of any kind. The only thing it stores in your browser is your light/dark theme preference, kept locally so the site remembers it. Your browser may also store standard technical data (such as cached files) as it does for any website, but we do not use cookies to profile or track you across sites.

This site links to third-party websites — for example, the resources in our directory and reference links in our articles and guides. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. Hosting and server logs

This is ordinary infrastructure logging, not something we use to build profiles of visitors.
